Become a PMtoPM Contributor

Welcome 👋
Thank you for wanting to share your experience with the PMtoPM community.

100 Tips for PMs from PMs is built around real stories, real decisions, and real trade-offs. If you’ve learned something the hard way through a project that didn’t go as planned, a conversation that changed your approach, or a mistake that taught you more than success ever could, this space is for you.

What you get

Your insights shared with the project management community.

Space to articulate what you’ve been doing instinctively.

The satisfaction of seeing your experience help others.

Attribution with your name, photo, and LinkedIn profile.

What to share

A practical insight from your PM work: an approach that works, or a common mistake worth avoiding.

Something you learned through trial and error: the shift in thinking or behavior that made you more effective.

A mindset change that altered how you work: the moment you realized you needed to approach something differently.

What we ask

Authentic sharing based on real experience.

Honest reflection about what works and what doesn’t.

Willingness to go beyond surface-level advice.

How the Process Works

1. You Submit Your Tip

Share an insight you’ve learned through experience using the form below. Describe what changed for you and why it matters for other PMs.

2. We Review and Confirm

If your tip is a good fit for the project, we’ll confirm and schedule next steps within 1 week.

3. We Schedule an Interview

A 45-60 minute video conversation where we dig into your tip, your philosophy, and your experience. Think of it as a focused coffee chat with another PM.

4. We Edit and Send for Review

We transcribe and edit the interview for clarity, remove filler words, and structure it for readers. Then we send it to you for approval.

5. You Approve

Review the edited version. Make changes, add clarifications, or request edits. Nothing goes live without your approval.

6. Publication

Your interview goes live on pmtopm.pro. We announce it on LinkedIn and in the newsletter. You’re welcome to share it with your network.

You always get credit with your name, photo, and LinkedIn link.

FAQs

What if I’m not a senior Project Manager or don’t see myself as an expert?

That’s completely fine. PMtoPM welcomes perspectives from mid-level and senior PMs. Experience at different stages matters. Often, the more senior you become, the harder it is to notice the small shifts that actually made a difference. Your perspective is valuable regardless of your title.

Can I contribute anonymously?

We prefer attribution for credibility and context, but alternative options can be discussed if you have specific concerns.

In which language can I contribute?

You can contribute in either English or Russian. The primary language of PMtoPM is English for a worldwide audience. A Russian version of the platform will be released as a second version soon.

What if my tip isn’t unique or groundbreaking?

That’s okay. If it helped you, it will likely help others. This project is not about “clever tips.” It’s about experience, emotions, and how your thinking changed over time. The journey matters more than a single takeaway.

Are all tips and stories published?

Not all submissions are published. We select contributions that reflect real challenges, practical application, and meaningful learning. If your idea isn’t a fit for this format, we can discuss alternative ways to collaborate.

Will you edit what I say?

Yes, and no. Yes – for clarity, structure, grammar, and flow. But your meaning and perspective are never changed. You approve everything before publication.

What if I want something removed after publication?

Just reach out. We can edit or remove content if needed, though we aim to get everything right during the review stage.

Yes. You grant PMtoPM permission to publish and promote your contribution, but you retain ownership of your story and insights.

Can I share my interview on my own channels?

Absolutely. You’re encouraged to share excerpts on LinkedIn, your blog, or elsewhere, with attribution to PMtoPM.
